Tennis South Canterbury Incorporated is a non-profit regional sporting organisation that fosters and promotes the game of tennis in the South Canterbury region. TSC’s purpose is to enable and promote quality tennis experiences at every level. There are 7 clubs affiliated to Tennis South Canterbury: Albury Tennis Club, Claremont Tennis Club, Highfield Tennis Club, Hilton Geraldine Tennis Club, Temuka Tennis Club, Tennis South Canterbury Masters, Wai-iti Tennis Club.
Our headquarters is the Trust Aoraki Tennis Centre, 27 Benvenue Ave, Timaru – a magnificent venue with magical views from the Pavilion over Caroline Bay. There are 14 outdoor Synpave & Plexipave courts all are floodlit.

Whether you are looking for a function room for your next board meeting or the perfect place to celebrate a special anniversary the Trust Aoraki Tennis Centre is a very special and unique venue which is best viewed in order to get a feel for what is available. Only walking distance from a large number of motels and restaurants in the Timaru city centre.

Love Tennis 2025
We’re excited to announce that Love Tennis is back in 2025 – and we’d love for you and your whānau to join us for a fun-filled afternoon at your local South Canterbury tennis club! Wai-iti Tennis Club and Highfield Tennis Club but also us this year!

At our Tennis Centre, running from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, this nationwide event sees clubs all over Aotearoa opening their doors to the community, and South Canterbury is proudly taking part. Whether you’ve never picked up a racquet or you’re a seasoned player, Love Tennis is a FREE event for all ages and abilities.
With activities for all ages including coaching sessions and court play, mini games, giveaways, BBQ’s and much much more, there’s so many reasons to come along and give tennis a go!
It’s the perfect opportunity to discover (or rediscover!) tennis in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. So grab your mates, bring the kids, and join us for an unforgettable afternoon on court.
