Tennis South Canterbury Incorporated is a non-profit regional sporting organisation that fosters and promotes the game of tennis in the South Canterbury region. TSC’s purpose is to enable and promote quality tennis experiences at every level. There are 7 clubs affiliated to Tennis South Canterbury: Albury Tennis Club, Claremont Tennis Club, Highfield Tennis Club, Hilton Geraldine Tennis Club, Temuka Tennis Club, Tennis South Canterbury Masters, Wai-iti Tennis Club.
Our headquarters is the Trust Aoraki Tennis Centre, 27 Benvenue Ave, Timaru – a magnificent venue with magical views from the Pavilion over Caroline Bay. There are 14 outdoor Synpave & Plexipave courts all are floodlit.

Squads Term 1 - 2026
1.5hrs of tennis with our coaches (45min Coaching & 45min Matchplay). Starting times will be confirmed soon.
C Grade: usually for players 11 year old and under and we are using green balls.
B Grade: is intermediate players that play with regular balls and have played for a few years.
A Grade: is usually rep level players that play with regular balls and have played for a few years with good level of tennis and participated to some tournaments.

Summer Bash
Welcome to the Summer series of the Social Doubles Big Summer Bash in November running for 6 weeks. Starts Wednesday 11th February and every Wednesday till 25th March (No matches on Wed 11th March due to WTT) from 6.00pm-8.00pm. Grab a partner and enter now (pre-registration essential).
There are two games per night with drinks break in between. Each round lasts 35 mins. There is points allocated to teams each week and at the end of the last round there is finals night, with a prize giving. $120 per team payable to Tennis South Canterbury. (Social Level)

Parent/Child Tournament
ENTRIES NOW OPEN – Bring your Parent/Grandparent/ & Child and have a fun day! Social Doubles, Sunday 29th March 2026. $20 per team. First group starting from 10:00 am, second 10:30 am.
This is a fantastic opportunity to team up with your child—or persuade your parent/relative/friend to join you on the court—for a fun, social doubles-only event!
Entry fee: Just $20 per team (2 players). BBQ & Prizes!
Format is:
- 1 set with 6 games
- Finals 2 sets of 4
- 3 Grades (Hotshots, C Grade & A/B Grade)
All proceeds will go towards supporting our Junior Representative Team.
